Merge Poker Network Ready for US Players
As a result of the Black Friday events that took place in the United States, Merge Poker stopped accepting players from the United States. This move was most certainly as a result of Black Friday, however, it was not was one of the US online poker sites that were directly affected by a forced closure of business. For the past two months, since Black Friday, US players have not been able to play online poker on the Merge Poker Network. The online poker network is now ready to accept their US players again, and to have new players signing up with the online poker network. The reason for the half in services is that after the shut down and closure of Full Tilt Poker, online poker players in the United States w ere desperately looking for an online poker room to play in that would accept players from the US. Many of these players turned to online poker sites operated by the Merge Poker Network. Fairly soon after this took place, the online poker network could not cope with the overwhelming amount of traffic that had begun to use the Merge Poker Network. Merge has since worked on its servers, making sure that they could handle more traffic. Although the fix still needs some work, the network will soon be able to cope with the large amount of business that has been generated as a result of Full Tilt Poker and other online poker sites being seized. The Merge Gaming Network has found that it has an increase of web traffic by around 75 percent. The traffic simply proved to be too much for the network to handle, but now players located in the United States can join in the poker fun again. As a result of Black Friday, the Merge Poker Network is likely to become the biggest, or at least one of the biggest, online poker networks in the US.
